Guitar Tablature or TABS for short, is an easy way to learn and write out music for guitar. Labeled below is a basic description of how TABS are read. Its very easy and is the method used by most beginners
* TABS are the easiest and most popular way for beginners to read and write music but, it has many pros and cons:
Pros:
- Easy to learn.
- Lots of free TABS available to anyone on the internet.
Cons:
- Most lack rhythms, so TABS don’t usually tell you when to play the notes. They are best for songs you’ve heard may times and are very familiar with. All TABS you find on this site WILL have rhythms!!!
- Anyone can post TABS on the internet so accuracy is most often not reliable.
- They very are often incomplete and only contain a portion of the song.
