Easy Guitar Chords 4

Two really easy guitar chords:

G5

Order of Placement:
  1. Pinky
  2. 3rd finger
  3. 2nd finger – leaning slightly to mute the A string.
  4. Strum all 6 strings

*This can also be used for a G major chord but is not a true G major.

Cadd9

Order of Placement:
  1. Pinky
  2. 3rd finger
  3. 2nd finger – leaning slightly to mute the D string underneath it.
  4. Strum from the A string.

*These 2 chords are in practically 50% of all hit songs.  For example Hey Stephen by Taylor Swift or Good Riddance by Green Day.  They are fun and easy to switch back and are great for getting beginners strumming their favorite songs!
