C Major Arpeggio Form

C Major Arpeggio Form:

Here is a C form arpeggio:

with fret

Play the arpeggio in the same manner that I teach my scales:

  1. Start and end on the root.
  2. Play the root notes at the end.
  3. Make it rhythmically complete by ending on either beat 1 or 3.  1 being the strongest.

* Do not worry if the theory is confusing to you.  Just practice the shape and in time the theory of it will make sense.  This is very common when learning music.  The things you learn will often be foggy on how they work but the important thing is to keep playing your scales and arpeggio shapes knowing that as you learn them better their application will become easier to grasp.
