Important Characteristics of Minor Blues:

• Is used over minor blues songs.
• Can be used on major blues songs.  The use of Minor Blues over major and dominant chord gives the classic bluesy sound
• Is the minor pentatonic scale with the b5 added.  Also known as the “Blue Note”.
• Formula for a Minor Blues Scale: 1  b3  4 b5  5  b7.
