Rhythm – is the utmost important aspect of making music. If you can’t keep a steady beat the music will suffer greatly. Even if you are not interested in learning how to read music, do yourself and everyone you play with a favor, and learn your Rhythms. You won’t regret it!
Whole Notes:
Whole notes get 4 beats.

Half Notes:
A half note gets 2 beats.

Quarter Notes:
Quarter notes last for one beat and match the beat exactly.

* First trying tapping along with the recordings on your leg or a table. Then try playing along on the open b string of the guitar.
